Rich and Lori's Ireland Visit

This is an old church we passed along a country road. The church is a ruin but the graveyard is still used. Many of the graves are marked with big celtic crosses.


This is Lori in front of Bunraty Castle. Nelly's is a famous tourist trap first opened in 1620. The original owners are no longer alive.


The cliffs of Moher along the west coast of Ireland. They are a shear drop off of several hundred feet into the ocean. The weather was unseasonable warm, and as you can see, unusually sunny


This is another view of the cliffs of Moher. If you zoom in, (double click on the picture)you can see people on the tops of the cliffs. They appear very small (the people, not the cliffs) I wanted to walk there too but there was a sign prohibiting trespassing and Lori had no bail money.


The Irish contryside. There were laws in the past that required the family property to be divided equally amoung the children. That caused all the multiple fences which continued to get built with each passing generation.
