Over the past weekend we drove the countryside with our friend Richard Willimas. Richard W. was trying London driving for the first time. It takes a bit getting used to the steering wheel on the opposite side and traffic flows opposite of what you lived with all your life. With a little practice, we started to feel comfortable and had very few close calls. When you drive down some of the country roads, you understand why they drive small cars. We had to hold our breath to squeeze by oncoming traffic. The locals pay no attention and put pedal to the metal.

Another castle we happened upon

85 year old Steve, the caretaker. He said we could only stay for 15 minutes and he proceeded to talk to us for an hour. He would have invited us in for tea if we stayed any longer.
