Visit to Bath


On July 16th, Lori and Rich traveled by train to Bath, England. The town is known as one of the finest spas of the Roman empire, nearly 2000 years old. The great bath is fed by natural hot water that bubbles up from the ground. Most of the ancient baths remain buried beneath the current town. Lots of things to see and big crowds.


20 feet below street level. The water is green due to algae growth from the sun. Pool is lined with lead sheets.
