Dover Castle

Here are a few pics from a visit to Dover on the English channel. The rocks along the coast are very white, soft and chalky. We took a tour of underground military tunnels at the Dover Castle where the Allies planned much of the manuvers in WWII. Talk about steps!! We got lost in an underground maze of medival tunnels and saw where King Henry VIII spent his weekends. Only took 6 days to get there from London with 800 staff and 4000 horses. Quite cool.
